Today is my sister Roses birthday sadly today we aren’t able to go anywhere because of corona but we found another way we can make Roses birthday fun. Maggie, mom, and me are making Roses birthday cake. When I bake alone it never turns out last time I baked alone I wanted to bake cupcakes for a contest with my friends. So I just put all the ingredients in one bowl and well that did not go well. When I took a bite into the cupcake it salty chunky and dry. I learned after that experience to read the directions before dumping the ingredients into the bowl and that was two weeks ago so lets hope this chocolate cake will turn out. I would hate for the chocolate cake not to turn out because i could just imagine how disappointed my sisters face would be. Well better get cracking.
Me and my mother started baking the cake at 2:00 p.m. and finished at 3:00 p.m. Also my sister had a little surprise at 7:00 from her friends they all drove by our house throwing out cards to her and my sister was so happy. After the little parade my mom cut slices of cake to eat. The cake was a bit dry but ice cream just made the cake perfect it was a success and it was way better than my chunky salty cupcakes.
